Deposit Requirements

A deposit will be required to receive service from Richland Electric Cooperative. You must fill out a credit application form which will be sent by us to a credit reporting agency. The amount of the deposit will be determined by your credit rating (score) that we receive from the agency.

Deposits are applied to the account:

• After 12 consecutive months of satisfactory payment history, no late payment penalties, no disconnect notices or non-sufficient funds checks.

Deposits accrue no interest.
